There are humans who are willing to do whatever is necessary in order to exploit authoritarian followerism (issue #101) in order to gain power, regardless of the harm they may do in the process.

(Note the distinction between good leadership and authoritarian leadership: the primary concern in the former is benefit or harm to those being led, while in the latter it's maintaining the power-structure.)
